Credit Union of Denver is looking for an experienced and collaborative Underwriting Manager to lead underwriting operations and support responsible loan growth across our lending portfolio. This role provides oversight, guidance, and coaching to underwriting staff while ensuring credit decisions are consistent, compliant, and aligned with our commitment to doing life with our members through sound financial solutions.

What we are looking for:
  • Experience supporting direct and indirect loan growth, including high-volume third-party indirect lending preferred
  • Strong knowledge of consumer, business, and real estate underwriting required
  • Commercial/business underwriting experience preferred, including tax return spreading, P&L review, and cash flow analysis
  • Requires knowledge of lending regulations, financial products/services.
  • 3-5 years of related experience

Schedule:
  • Exempt Position
  • Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM, Rotating Saturdays, 8 AM-1PM
  • Expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, additional hours may be required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

Salary Range:
$101,500-$115,000/year
