Location: Broomfield, CO – Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shift + lunch | Must be available during core hours of 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.31/hour
Contract: 6–12 months | Potential for permanent conversion

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Underwriting Services Assistant I to join a growing insurance team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a career within insurance and underwriting.

In this role, you will support the underwriting team by processing policy-related requests, managing incoming work, and ensuring information is handled accurately and efficiently. Training will be provided, with opportunities to gain additional responsibility as you become proficient in the role.

What You'll Do

  • Support entry-level underwriting and insurance operations
  • Process binds, endorsements, cancellations, and policy-related requests
  • Work from a production/task queue to complete assigned requests
  • Monitor and triage emails within a shared Outlook inbox
  • Route requests and documentation to the appropriate team members
  • Review information for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Use Microsoft Outlook and Excel for daily tasks
  • Follow established procedures and quality standards
  • Work independently as knowledge and authority are gained

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous insurance or underwriting support experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience working in a production, processing, administrative, or customer service environment
