What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an underwriting associate?

To thrive as an Underwriting Associate, you need a strong understanding of risk assessment, analytical skills, and knowledge of insurance principles, often supported by a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Attention to detail, effective communication, and organizational skills help you excel in evaluating applications and collaborating with clients and colleagues.
