NRDB Utilities, LLC is a privately owned and operated LLC that specializes in underground and aerial placement. We are
currently seeking skilled and motivated individuals for full-time employment as Lineman in our Underground/Aerial
Construction Division. The candidate should be self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
 Ability to utilize ladders, crawl spaces, manholes, and trenches to access various installations and construction
points as required.
 Safely operate a bucket truck, climb poles and utilize standard tools of the trade.
 This position may require out-of-town traveling during the week.
 Flexibility to work across all divisions (underground/aerial).
 Rod and rope through existing conduit
 Running and pulling fiber optic cable
 Reading and interpreting engineered prints and other project documentation.
 Driving a company vehicle while towing a trailer
 Operating equipment, including but not limited to, plows, mini excavators, missiles, aerial lift device, lasher, or
various hand tools.
 Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal
regulations.
 Provide daily reports and plans for the next days work.
 Climb poles and ladders up to 50 feet as necessary.
 Always maintain a professional working attitude with colleagues and customers
 Follow customer-specific procedures for documentation or notification as described in customer notes or
installation guidelines.
 Additional responsibilities as requested by the project manager.
 Make sound decisions consistent with job duties.
 Work any scheduled shift (optional weekend overtime) and under various weather conditions.
 Perform tasks involving prolonged sitting and standing.
 Work in confined spaces such as maintenance holes.
 Throwing a rope over elevated cable lines, through tree branches and pulling the lasher down the cable lines.
 Maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
 Perform daily truck inspections, keeping vehicle properly stocked and cleaned.
 Have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
 Running equipment, digging, and placing new conduit,
 Lashing up new cable, building new strand, and rod and rope underground conduit,
 Hand digging will be required.
 Flagging may also be required.
 Other duties as assigned.
