Our North American Industrial Process & Environmental group is searching for a Computer Science Intern to support our location in Salt Lake City, UT. The successful candidate will be able to perform the essential job functions listed below.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Assist in the design and development of software applications or systems

2.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

3.Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and optimize existing applications

4.Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

5.Support the testing and deployment of software solutions

6.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

7.Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions8.Document development processes and code changes

Skills/Experience Required:

1.Pursuing or completed a BS Degree in Computer Science or related field

2.Strong interest in software development and programming

3.Basic knowledge of programming languages (i.e. C++, Python, Matlab, Powershell, Javascript)

4.Familiarity with version control systems (i.e. SVN, Git)

5.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

6.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

7.Interfaces with internal customers

8.Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks

9.Previous internship or project experience is a plus but not required
