Are you someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys working hands-on with vehicles? We're looking for a Rustproof Technician / New Car Prep Specialist to join our team and help ensure every vehicle leaving our dealership looks and performs its best.

What You'll Do

As a Rustproof Technician / New Car Prep Specialist, you'll play a key role in preparing vehicles for the showroom and delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Rustproofing and undercoating vehicles as assigned
  • Safely lifting vehicles and applying undercoating with thorough, precise coverage
  • Applying rustproofing chemicals to doors, panels, engine compartments, truck beds, and other designated areas
  • Wearing appropriate protective gear (provided), including protective suit, gloves, goggles, and respirator
  • Transporting vehicles carefully to prevent interior contamination
  • Cleaning overspray and ensuring a flawless finish
  • Washing and detailing vehicles to showroom-quality standards
  • Inspecting vehicles for damage and verifying listed accessories
  • Documenting any damage or missing items
  • Parking completed vehicles in assigned areas
  • Assisting technicians and valets as needed
  • Occasionally retrieving or delivering vehicles to other dealerships
  • Maintaining a clean and organized detail shop
  • Supporting winter operations, including snow and ice removal and clearing vehicles
