Undercoat Technician

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays

Do you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in delivering a quality finished product? Kocourek is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Undercoat Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll help protect our customers' vehicles by professionally applying undercoating and assisting with spray-in bedliner installations while working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

What You'll Do

  • Apply automotive undercoating using company-approved procedures and equipment.

  • Assist with spray-in bedliner installations as needed.

  • Ensure every vehicle meets Kocourek's quality standards before delivery.

  • Maintain an organized work area and follow all safety policies and procedures.

  • Monitor chemical and supply inventory for spray operations.

  • Maintain accurate records of completed work.

  • Coordinate daily spray schedules to ensure vehicles are completed on time.

  • Transport vehicles between dealership locations as needed.

  • Maintain product knowledge and installation specifications.

  • Work efficiently to meet daily production goals while maintaining exceptional quality.

  • Wear company-provided uniforms and represent Kocourek professionally.

  • Assist with additional detail and service-related duties as assigned.

Schedule

  • Full-time

Physical Requirements

This position is physically active and requires the ability to:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Kneel, bend, squat, stoop, and stand for extended periods.

  • Reach above and below shoulder level.

  • Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.

  • Work in an environment that may include dust, chemicals, automotive fumes, and moderate to high noise levels.
