Job description

Position: Delivery Driver
Work Location: Phoenix, AZ 85024
Payrate: $18-$27/hr on DOE
Duration: Full-time Role
Shift: morning shifts but the time may vary based on the needs of the client
Dress Code: polo shirt, khaki pants, or shorts

Job Description:

The Client works with award winning designers, architects, custom home builders and high-profile clients to deliver, install, and move high end furniture and accessories. We primarily service the Southwest, but it is not uncommon for us to be working on a South Florida beach or a Montana ranch. Every day brings new and exciting challenges while working for a family owned business.

We want to hire the best so we are looking for career minded candidates with long term goals.

Requirements:

  • Be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Be able to follow safe operator practices.
  • Be able to learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service.
  • Be able to lead and direct crews of 1 to 5 guys
  • Be able to serve customers courteously
  • Be able to read, write and comprehend reports well enough to complete daily assignments
  • Have knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre and post trip inspections
  • Possess a clean safety and driving record
  • Be able to pass a DOT Physical and drug and alcohol screening.
  • Minimum of one-year local route driving experience in commercial vehicles
  • Be able to repeatedly reach, bend, lift, pull and push materials up to 50lbs
  • 25 years of age or older, due to insurance requirements

We load/unload/pack/move/set up/ assemble/place furniture and accessories using our 26' straight/box trucks to specified destinations. We have a TEAM mentality, so all of our team members participate in all aspects of our moves and installations.

Job Duties:

  • Follows safe operator practices
  • Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
  • Pack and load products onto trucks according to company's specifications
  • Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
  • Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
  • Unload goods as per client specifications
  • Review deliveries with customers to ensure products and installation meet their needs
  • Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer

Fully Loaded Deliveries is also a residential relocation specialist. Working with clients to pack, prep, store and move complete residential homes up to 30k square feet. Our culture of success is nurtured by hard work, fun, and collaboration
