Familiarity with learning management systems like Blackboard, research databases, and digital collaboration tools is often necessary. Adaptability, self-motivation, and effective communication help students excel in diverse academic and social environments. What are some common challenges UM students face when balancing academics with extracurricular activities or part-time work?

UM students often juggle rigorous academic coursework alongside involvement in student organizations, internships, or part-time jobs. Many students find success by utilizing campus resources such as academic advising, tutoring centers, and career services, which can provide support and effective strategies for balancing responsibilities. Building a strong support network among peers and faculty also helps in navigating these challenges.
