Job Title: UT - Ultrasound Tech 
Job Location: Roosevelt, UT 
Job Type: Contract 

Job Description:  

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology and ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols to support accurate diagnosis and treatment 

  • Conduct all ordered ultrasound and diagnostic radiology procedures within the hospital, ensuring timely and efficient workflow 

  • Maintain competency in both ultrasound and diagnostic radiology modalities, keeping skills current with evolving standards 

  • Evaluate images for technical quality, completeness, and diagnostic value before submission to interpreting physicians 

  • Prepare, operate, and maintain ultrasound and radiology equipment, ensuring proper function and readiness 

  • Follow all department and modality-specific policies and procedures related to imaging, equipment use, documentation, and safety 

  • Maintain accurate patient records, perform required clerical duties, and enter exam data into hospital systems 

  • Support inventory and supply management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and organization 

  • Contribute to the development and revision of departmental policies and procedures 

  • Ensure imaging areas are clean, organized, and presentable to support a safe and professional environment 

  • Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and promoting comfort throughout the exam 

  • Foster positive working relationships with physicians, patients, and staff to support coordinated patient care
