The Supervisor of Ultrasound provides oversight and coordination of all ultrasound procedures and activities of the assigned staff. The position requires the technologist to work with the Radiologists and department management to carry out department and hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. The Supervisor must possess strong interpersonal and technical skills, proven leadership skills, ability to use sound judgment as situations dictate and effective problem solving skills. All employees of North Florida Regional Medical Center will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and National Patient Safety standards.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Program or equivalent education
  • Two years of Supervisory Experience preferred
  • ARDMS Registered in physics and one other registry required
  • Vascular Registry (if not in place, must be obtained within one year of hire)
  • BLS Certification required
