Job description

Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technician
Day Shift, Monday to Friday (No calls, weekends, or holidays)
*SIGN ON BONUS*
Overview:
MLR are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing non-invasive diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound exams on patients.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic cardiovascular and peripheral vascular ultrasound exams.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture accurate images of the heart and blood vessels.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during ultrasound procedures.
  • Assist with patient education and provide information regarding the procedure.
  • Review images and prepare reports for physicians.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Must be registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), or by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as a RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist).
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • ACLS certification preferred within 6 months of employment.
  • Experience in cardiovascular and/or peripheral vascular disease preferred.
  • Strong basic computer knowledge.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, stay organized, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Ability to work independently and show flexibility in a dynamic environment.
