Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - DMS
Location: Uvalde, Texas
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Shifts Available

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you'll utilize advanced ultrasound technology to capture critical imaging data that assists in diagnosing and monitoring a wide range of medical conditions. Your role is vital in providing accurate, high-quality images that help physicians make informed decisions and deliver excellent patient care. What You'll Do
  • Perform Ultrasound Examinations
    Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, musculoskeletal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies, ensuring high-quality and diagnostic clarity.
  • Operate Ultrasound Equipment
    Adjust settings on ultrasound machines to capture accurate images while maintaining precise control over the equipment.
  • Ensure Patient Comfort and Safety
    Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process, providing a supportive and caring environment.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams

Qualifications
Education:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Certification & Licensure:
  • ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required.
  • State licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Texas, if applicable.
Experience & Skills:
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and performing a variety of exams.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and ultrasound techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and on-call shifts when necessary.
