Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging and direct supervisor of the Ultrasound Supervisor, the UltrasoundTechnologist is responsible for the provision of ultrasonic diagnostic procedures to patients according to physician's orders.Provides for patient safety and high quality testing. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:1. Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiology Technology.2. Completion of training program in ultrasonic technology.3. Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) preferred.4. Ultrasound Registry RDMS preferred.5. Certified by the Texas Department of Health.6. Previous experience in hospital environment preferred.
