Job description

Position: HVAC Technician
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Status: Full Time, Permanent
Category: Manufacturing and Production

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, including high-capacity chillers, ultra-low refrigeration, cooling towers, and liquid pumping systems.
  • Diagnose and repair package units, large tonnage systems, split systems, water source heat pumps, and built-up systems.
  • Maintain, program, troubleshoot, and repair commercial chiller cooling systems, chilled water pumps, and VFDs.
  • Oversee HVAC-related repairs performed by outside contractors to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to HVAC emergencies, ensuring continued facility operations and production system functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and company SOPs for facility operations.
  • Research and apply local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized plant environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience in a manufacturing or commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Experience working with specialized systems such as Daikin, Vilter, and Dunham Bush screw compressor systems.
  • Proficiency in BMS (Building Management Systems) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HVAC codes and regulations at local, state, and federal levels
