Our client seeks a Senior UI/Visual Designer to elevate the look and feel of native mobile applications across iOS and Android. The role emphasizes visual execution, design systems, and expert Figma use. You will collaborate with product, engineering, research, human factors, regulatory, quality, medical affairs, and legal partners to deliver brand-consistent, accessible, and high-quality interfaces for patients and healthcare providers.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive aesthetically strong visual execution of native mobile products.
  • Utilize and contribute to our client's design system.
  • Shape and contribute to UI design strategy to elevate quality across the portfolio.
  • Design visual experiences across iOS, Android, Web, and companion surfaces such as watch or receiver where applicable, ensuring platform-native fidelity.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary designers, developers, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Ensure intended implementation across iOS, Android, Web apps, and other devices through close collaboration with development engineers.
  • Present design proposals with confidence to inform and influence stakeholders.
  • Mentor designers through craft feedback, visual critique, and hands-on collaboration.
  • Socialize ideas to gain alignment and compromise to reach mutually agreeable solutions.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative culture receptive to feedback and respectful disagreement.
  • Own outcomes and be accountable for project and design decisions.

Experience Requirements:
  • Strong visual design and UI design background focused on native mobile applications.
  • Extensive experience designing for iOS and Android with expert Figma skills.
  • Proven work with design systems as both user and contributor.
  • Deep understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, and mobile design patterns and best practices.
  • Track record of shipping products from concept through launch.
  • Preferred: familiarity with front-end development concepts, accessibility and WCAG, and web application design.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and defend decisions and influence cross-functional partners.

Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
