Job description

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the department manager, the Department Aide-CT Scan performs duties involved with a variety of operational and technical procedures. 

Core Job Responsibilities
  • Files and charts medical reports and related material
  • Assigns the proper patient consent form
  • Assists in locating patient files
  • Transports patients to and from the Imaging Department
  • Helps maintain the equipment
  • Maintain record keeping and filing system
  • Delivers radiographs to radiologists or physicians
  • Perform other duties as required.
Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

PREFERRED:

  • Medical terminology
