CDL Driver (Local) Class A– Grain Operations
Location: Missouri‑based positions and Illinois-based positions available

We proudly serve over 4,900 members from nine locations across Illinois and Missouri, supporting agriculture throughout the tri‑state area.
Position Summary
Ursa Farmers Cooperative Co. is seeking a Local CDL Driver (home nightly) to provide excellent customer service while safely transporting grain from member locations to UFC facilities and sales markets. This position also supports grain transfers between locations and assists with basic loading and unloading tasks. The CDL Driver is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional truck and upholding facility housekeeping standards at locations served. Pay ranges $50,000 to $70,000 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all DOT and safety regulations
  • Pick up grain from customers and transport to UFC facilities or markets
  • Transfer grain between UFC locations as needed
  • Load and unload trucks when required
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and daily inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness and a professional appearance of truck and work areas
  • Provide courteous, timely, and professional customer service to members
Required Skills amp; Qualifications
  • Valid CDL license (required)
  • Ability to pass DOT physical requirements
  • Strong time‑management and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to accuracy and timeliness
  • Commitment to company values and safety standards
  • Preferred Agriculture experience but not required
