Summary
The Jet's Pizza Boom Brigade and Cannon Crew are enthusiastic brand ambassadors responsible for enhancing the Blue Jackets gamedays by creating memorable experiences through fan interaction. During Blue Jackets home games, the Promo team represents the Blue Jackets organization by being a welcoming and engaging unit to home and away fans alike. The ideal candidate will be a strong performer, team player, and highly charismatic!
Jet's Pizza Boom Brigade:
The Jet's Pizza Boom Brigade is the ultimate hype squad at Blue Jackets home games-welcoming fans with high energy, pumping up the crowd, selecting lucky fans for contests, and handing out prizes. Behind the scenes, they prep props and giveaways, assist with mascot handling, and keep the entertainment rolling. Off the ice, the Jet's Pizza Boom Brigade proudly represents the Blue Jackets throughout the community at festivals, parades, and special events-bringing the CBJ spirit wherever they go.
Cannon Crew:
The Cannon Crew lights up Blue Jackets home games-welcoming fans, sparking excitement around the iconic Goal Cannon, and leading the charge during every goal celebration. They create unforgettable moments with photo ops, engaging the crowd by waving large flags, and help execute select in-game contests and promotions. Cannon Crew members are passionate, knowledgeable ambassadors of Blue Jackets history, and play a key role in making game day electric from start to finish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
โ€ข Interact with fans before, during, and after CBJ home games.
โ€ข Coordinate contestants for pregame, tv-timeout, and intermission contests.
โ€ข Assist with distribution of fan giveaways before and during games.
โ€ข Prep promotional items/prizing used during the game (ex: rolling T-shirts).
โ€ข Supplement CBJ production crew's efforts to engage the crowd by cheering, reacting to prompts, and sparking energy in the crowd
โ€ข Make appearances in the community on an as-needed basis.
โ€ข Follow game script with assignments that coordinate all contests and promotions.
โ€ข Serve as a handler for CBJ's mascot, Stinger.
โ€ข Bring energy to Nationwide Arena for fans of all ages in the form of a spirited attitude, leading cheers, dances, waving CBJ flags, etc.
