Position Overview  

UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville is actively seeking a General Internal Medicine Physician to join our nationally recognized academic program. This is an outstanding opportunity to serve as both a clinician and educator within a patient-centered, collegial environment committed to delivering high-quality care. This faculty position is primarily based at our UF North outpatient clinic, offers the flexibility to incorporate inpatient rounding aligned with physician interest. The role offers a balanced practice model that includes direct patient care alongside meaningful engagement in academic medicine, including teaching and mentoring residents and medical students. This opportunity is designed for physicians seeking a truly rewarding career that blends clinical excellence with academic purpose; within a collaborative and growing health system committed to long-term professional growth, impact, and fulfillment.  

Position Highlights: 

  • BC/BE (MD/DO) in Internal Medicine 
  • Clinic Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM  
  • Approximately 16–18 patient visits per day
