Job description

Join UC Davis Health's Occupational & Employee Health Clinic (OEHC), where we are dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of our employees. Our clinic specializes in treating work-related injuries and illnesses, offering preventive medical services, and managing OSHA and departmentally mandated medical surveillance programs. We also play a crucial role in the onboarding process for new employees, all while promoting initiatives to enhance the overall wellness of UCDH staff. Located within the Division of Hospital Operations, we embrace a collaborative approach that aligns with our Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) vision. We aim to create a workplace that is as safe for our staff as it is for our patients, partnering closely with those involved in patient care to protect and promote human health.
Highlights:
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10% administration time
  • Patient Load: Up to 15
  • Support Team Includes NP, LVN, and full front staff
Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for California medical license.
  • Preferred Experience: Occupational medicine clinical experience (injury management and regulatory forms), Familiarity with CA or general Worker’s Comp Policies and Laws and ACOEM practice guidelines
  • Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
  • Fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and/or experience in clinic patient setting
  • Holds, and maintains, a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license
