Job description

UCLA Department Of Psychology Position

Under the general supervision of Dr. Michelle Craske, the incumbent will contribute to the design and execution of an extramurally-funded project, Youth Mindful Awareness Program (YMAP), focused on analyzing three remotely-delivered programs and how they affect teens' moods. Responsibilities include providing clinical oversight for extramurally-funded projects in the lab; data coding and organization; data analysis and manuscript preparation; and supervising post-baccalaureate staff members and students on clinical assessments and related research projects.

UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge and training in the area of clinical research on depression and anxiety, including a demonstrated track record of applying techniques for measuring, analyzing, and reporting results. (Required)
  • Advanced knowledge and training in the area of clinical science, including experience with clinical assessment and psychotherapy for depression and anxiety. (Required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat). (Required)
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to write for and present to a highly trained and specialized academic audience, with the additional ability to write for and present to a general audience. (Preferred)
  • Ability to work in a team or independently when needed. (Required)
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and manage feedback. (Required)
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to consistently meet project deadlines. (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Preferred)
