Position Overview
The UC Blue Ash Student Food Pantry is dedicated to serving all UCBA and UC students by addressing student food insecurity and promoting community wellness. We are seeking a motivated and organized student co-op to support our mission through a variety of responsibilities. This role offers valuable professional experience, particularly for students in social work, business, or related fields.
Hourly Rate: 11.00 an hour

Primary Duties
  • Support pantry operations: Serve students during in their visit to the food pantry: Provide intake and support while they shop.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in tracking pantry inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of food and supplies, and organizing donations.
  • Stocking: Maintain the pantry's cleanliness and organization by regularly stocking shelves and managing the flow of donations.
  • Programming: Develop and implement initiatives that raise awareness about food insecurity on campus, including workshops, informational sessions, and outreach campaigns.

Minimum Requirements
  • Current UC student, preferably in social work, business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for community service and addressing food insecurity.
  • Previous volunteer or work experience in a food pantry, non-profit, or community service organization is beneficial.
