Program Length: 90–180 Days
Service Member Eligibility: Active-Duty Service Members within the authorized SkillBridge transition window
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Touchpoint International Development Group (TPIDG) is seeking transitioning service members with backgrounds in intelligence, UAS, ISR, electronic warfare, communications, cyber, reconnaissance, special operations, or research for a UAS Research & Threat Analysis SkillBridge Fellowship.
This position focuses on understanding the rapidly evolving UAS threat environment and translating technical and operational information into useful products for military training and defense customers.
Participants will conduct open-source research, technology assessments, threat analysis, UAS capability research, and training-support activities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Research current and emerging UAS technologies.
  • Analyze commercially available UAS platforms, components, payloads, communications systems, and control architectures.
  • Conduct open-source intelligence research related to UAS and counter-UAS developments.
  • Research foreign and adversary UAS employment concepts.
  • Track emerging UAS capabilities, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Support development of realistic UAS threat-recreation scenarios.
  • Research UAS signatures, sensors, datalinks, navigation, and control systems.
  • Support counter-UAS training development.
  • Conduct comparative analysis of UAS platforms and technologies.
  • Develop technical research products, briefs, threat assessments, and reference materials.
  • Support instructors and operational personnel with UAS-related research.
  • Assist with development of military training scenarios and exercise injects.
  • Maintain research databases and technical references.
  • Translate technical information into clear, usable products for military and government audiences.

  • Military intelligence or UAS experience
  • Experience conducting OSINT research
  • Familiarity with UAS technologies
  • Familiarity with counter-UAS concepts
  • Understanding of military UAS employment
  • Experience producing intelligence or technical products
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Strong writing and briefing skills
  • Ability to independently research unfamiliar technologies
  • Familiarity with GIS, mapping, ATAK/TAK, or similar systems is a plus
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn emerging technologies
