Job description

Job Details:

Start rate of $16.75 plus a $2/hour shift premium.
Job description:
  • 6:15 p.m. is the start time for this position.
  • Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on the 3rd (Night) shift only.
  • Must work a minimum of 10 hours with a maximum of 30 hours per week. Part-Time Workers are REQUIRED to work the 1st day of the week (Sunday) and the last day of the week (Wednesday).
  • Applicants will be considered for openings in any class 1 position in pack-out departments.
Requirements:
  • Physical: Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, gripping, reaching, repetitive wrist, elbow, and shoulder movements
  • Lifting 40 to 70 pounds (for some positions)
  • Work Environment: Cold, damp to hot and humid with slippery surfaces
  • Safety: Must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture
  • Consideration: If an applicant meets the minimum requirements, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility
  • Current Tyson Foods Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
  • Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there's a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
  • Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
