THE POSITION

Cameron-Elk County MH/ID is seeking a professional full time Clerk Typist 2 to help with the daily office functions for the Behavioral and Developmental Departments. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position centers on moderately complex clerical and secretarial work that requires independence and confidentiality. As a Clerk Typist 2, you will perform the following duties:

  • Telephone Support: Answer calls, take messages, route inquiries, and gather intake information when needed
  • Typing Tasks: Type correspondence, case notes, reports, and similar documents with accuracy
  • Report Assistance: Assist in completing reports, forms, and required documentation
  • Data Entry: Enter information into the CPR Web program and tracking pools
  • Document Review: Proofread documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with rules
  • Office Coordination: Order supplies, research equipment prices, arrange reservations, and manage staff development forms
  • Document Processing: Copy, file, collate, process, and distribute documents

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday - Thursday, with 30-minute lunch or Applicant may elect to work 5 days/week - 7.0 hrs./day with 30 min. for lunch. (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or
  • Any combination of equivalent experience and training.
