Job Summary

Alfa Insurance billing service representatives are team players that take exceptional pride in the company they represent. They provide excellent customer service to our customers, home office personnel and to our field sales force by answering billing questions and processing changes and requests as needed. We provide on-the-job training to our billing service representatives to help you be successful in your role as you begin your career and throughout.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional billing service to our field force, home office, and customers.
  • Set up Electronic Funds Transfer, transfer monies, process payer changes, reinstatements, policy plan changes dishonored items,
  • Answer telephone, e-mails and electronic information requests in an efficient and timely manner.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must pass Alfa's comparing and checking test, reading comprehension test, typing test, basic math test, and customer communication skills test.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude.
