Job Overview: 11pm-7:30am (Shift subject to change based on business needs)

In addition to performing routine Front Desk tasks (check-in & checkout), hotel Night Auditors perform a vital role on 3rd shift in closing the business day in the property management system and rolling the date to keep the system current.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Projects a positive image
  • Greets all guests
  • Initiates the Night Audit process of closing the financial day and rolling the date in the PMS
  • Generates reports for various team members as directed
  • Processes no-show reservations   
  • Performs hotel check-in and checkout transactions
  • Enrolls guests in player’s club, generate cards upon demand
  • Disseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks – cash handling, check authorizations, faxing , copying
  • Maintains cash drawer, drops cash as required, submits supporting documentation 
  • Answers telephones, routing calls as necessary
  • Actively resolves guest issues and disputes
  • Reports guestroom issues to Maintenance
  • Re-stocks Front Desk supplies
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly
  • Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be able to type 20 words per minute (typing test will be administered) - required
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered)- required
  • Experience in customer service- required
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be willing and able to work 3rd shift
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
  • Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.
  • Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
