The minimum words per minute (WPM) required for data entry jobs typically ranges from 40 to 60 WPM. Some specialized or high-volume data entry positions may require even higher typing speeds. It's important to verify the specific requirements in each job posting, as expectations can vary depending on the employer and industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a data entry clerk with a minimum typing speed requirement?

To thrive as a Data Entry Clerk, you need fast and accurate typing skills (often 40+ WPM), attention to detail, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
