Senior Typist

Position Title: Senior Typist

Assignment: Mexico High School

Certification: Civil Service - Competitive

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from high school or equivalency diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in clerical position involving keyboarding
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to deal effectively with the public
  • Ability to set up forms, charts, and tabular listings
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to organize and maintain records and files
  • Ability to support purchase order processing and basic budget management tasks
  • Managing sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of office terminology, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of business math and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Terms of Employment:

  • Full-time, probationary appointment
  • 12-month position
  • 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • $43,673.00 per year (2026-2027 school year)
  • Benefits as per contract
