Job description

Overview
At Urban Practice, we are dedicated to providing seamless, integrated architectural services to build communities that lift lives. We work closely with development, construction and management teams dedicated to excellence in housing. We are a new firm- small but growing- and we care about what we do.
Coordinates project design, develops creative design concepts for projects, and prepares presentation and design drawings. Certification as a licensed professional is required.
Responsibilities
1. Works independently on architectural design projects.
2. Often coordinates project design efforts.
3. Prepares presentation and design drawings and details.
4. Substantial experience in providing planning and design support in the preparation of design development.
5. Written and verbal communication with clients, engineers and architects.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Three to six years of experience in an architectural firm.
Required Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in BIM (ArchiCAD a major plus) + rendering/modeling/graphic experience. Experience with multi-family residential planning/design is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Typical office environment. Occasional long hours to meet deadlines. Occasional visits to construction sites.
