Job description

Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Twos Teacher to join our early childhood education team! Our twos program is all about discovery, independence, and building the foundation for a lifetime love of learning.
As a Twos Teacher, you'll guide curious little learners through hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, language development, and social growth - all within a nurturing, safe, and fun classroom environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote exploration, early literacy, and critical thinking.
  • Encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Partner with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a warm, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support the school community through teamwork, creativity, and a shared passion for excellence.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old, have an awarded High School Diploma or GED, AND have one of the following:
    • Completed 12 Core ECE Units OR
    • Have an awarded Child Development Associate (CDA) in Preschool.
  • 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
  • A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
  • Authorization to work in the United States
