Job Description Role: Project Engineer (TS) Description: Location: Saskatoon, SK (Hybrid - Minimum 2 days/week in office) Job Posting Start Date: 09/02/2025 Job Posting End Date: 12/31/2026 (16 months) Years Experience: 8-14 years Cameco is seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer to join our Technical Services team. This role is focused on the execution of sustaining capital projects, primarily at our Key Lake and McArthur River sites, with potential support for Ontario and other northern operations. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership & Technical Oversight Serve as the technical lead during the design phase and primary contact for technical inquiries during construction and commissioning. Manage engineering scope, schedule, and budget in alignment with overall project goals. Coordinate and provide technical oversight for work carried out with external consultants; serve as engineering leader on work executed using internal resources Engage with stakeholders across departments and site teams to align project objectives and expectations.

Coordinate and lead design reviews with site personnel and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and feasibility. Engineering & Design Coordination Lead and support engineers and designers across disciplines to produce project deliverables. Support procurement activities including tender document preparation, proposal evaluation, and post-award technical guidance.

Contribute to planning and funding requests with detailed engineering estimates and material takeoffs. Project Execution & Monitoring Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting on engineering activities. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Education & Certification Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, or related Engineering discipline. Professional Engineering registered with APEGS; PEO registration in Ontario is an asset.

Experience 8-14 years of engineering experience, preferably in industrial or mining environments. Proven track record in managing engineering components of capital projects. Skills & Attributes Strong leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency in engineering design and project management is an asset. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations. Additional Information Preference given to candidates located in or near Saskatoon with the ability to work in-office at least two days per week.

Occasional travel to northern Saskatchewan (and Ontario) sites may be required. Before accessing a Cameco safety-sensitive site in Northern Saskatchewan, the following training must be completed through ISN: Location-Specific Site Orientation Surface Pre-Access or Underground Pre-Access, including a substance test
