Job description

Are you seeking a unique opportunity to be part of the television industry? BrandStar Entertainment produces a nationally distributed television series featuring a celebrity host designed to help viewers solve real-life challenges around health and well-being. Our Booking Producers identify qualified subject matter experts and companies that can educate our audience and participate in an episode as featured Brand Experts.

This isNOT a traditional advertising sales position.

This is a key position within the programming department, responsible for developing unique, captivating storylines about relevant topics for each show's theme and signing nationally recognized brands including Fortune 500 companies to participate in a show segment. As a Booking Producer, you will research topics, interview potential show participants, and onboard selected partners for the television program while collaborating with the production team to prepare them for segment theme and concept.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Research appropriate brands or guests for a health and wellness themed television show. Identify appropriate decision makers.
  • Qualify national brands for potential fit with overall show theme and specific show segments.
  • Develop segment concepts that align with show theme, areas of interest, and editorial calendar. Seek interesting stories that meet the needs of the target viewing audiences.
  • Promote BrandStar Original shows.
  • Present partnership opportunity and funding requirements to decision makers and/or corporate executives. Secure brand participants for programming.
  • Meet weekly and monthly KPIs (key performance indicators) related to new story ideas and secured brand participants.
  • Maintain relationship with partners for future opportunities.
