Fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of a production job in television may require working unusual shifts or irregular hours when events like natural disasters occur, or using journalism skills to obtain information and present it to the viewing audience. Some television jobs require a significant amount of travel, and you may need to spend days or weeks away from home. Any experience working under these conditions can help you stand out from other applicants.
