Studio Services Team Member

For more than 70 years, WTHI-TV (CBS/FOX/ION/MeTV/MeTV Toons) has been the most-watched local television station in west central Indiana and east central Illinois, earning a reputation for trusted, award-winning coverage of news, weather, and sports. As a treasured member of the community, WTHI-TV continues to prioritize local storytelling, support community initiatives, and provide a trusted platform for the voices and events that shape daily life across the Wabash Valley.

WTHI-TV is looking for an individual to join our part-time Studio Services team. You'll work behind the scenes, operating various equipment used during the production of live newscasts.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the director and studio staff to coordinate studio support
  • Assist in determining the needs of the production
  • Operate studio graphic systems during broadcast/production
  • Provide audio production-related support as needed
  • May assist in digital media productions
  • Maintains and stores equipment

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School diploma required
  • Experience in television, film, or post-production preferred
  • Must be able to interact well with anchors, MMJs, videographers, news managers, production, and engineering staff
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Familiarity with processes and procedures of a television production department
  • Must be able to handle the pressures of a high-stress work environment
  • Flexible schedule (shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends)
  • Background check required
