Job description

Summary of Position

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Manager to join the Worldwide TV & Digital Distribution department, reporting to the Sr. Director, Sales Strategy & Planning. This multi-faceted position is integral to supporting the Domestic TV Sales team, particularly across the VOD & linear licensing business, and will focus on managing the studio's series library.

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning process for domestic go-to-market strategies for new release/library series
  • Identify and execute opportunities to monetize new and priority catalog series
  • Facilitate greenlight projections for series co-production &/or acquisition opportunities
  • Model financial scenarios for high-value IP
  • Build deal renegotiation proposal decks and present to executive leadership
  • Analyze guild residuals impact on sales potential and strategy
  • Review/analyze contract terms and facilitate data correction in the rights management system to ensure rights in & out are accurately reflected in the internal availability platform
  • Monitor and manage series ultimates for long-term risks
  • Prepare series licensing budget plan and provide regular sales updates to Finance
  • Build and maintain graphical sales tools for complex strategic windowing projects
  • Compile avail reports and provide tailored recommendations for client packages
  • Track deal obligations/commitments and facilitate notifications to clients
  • Collaborate and manage communications cross-departmentally on projects, including with Sales, Sales Planning, Content Strategy, Acquisitions, Finance, Rights Management, Legal, & Marketing teams
  • Support the Domestic TV Sales and Global Content Strategy & Planning teams on key and/or ad-hoc projects
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years of sales strategy/planning/admin, content licensing or acquisitions, finance, or related experience
  • Exceptional organization, note taking, and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical capabilities and Excel skills (working with large, complex datasets)
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced/dynamic environment
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and constant evolving priorities
  • Highly self-motivated with an aptitude to learn quickly, take accountability, and drive projects forward
  • Resourceful and proactive problem solver
  • Bachelor's Degree
Nice to Haves
  • Experience at a studio, streaming service, or other major media company strongly preferred
  • Passion for film and television, with strong knowledge of the ever-evolving TV distribution landscape
  • Understanding of TV rights & series deal structures
  • Experience with Rights Line, Salesforce, and/or Air Table
  • Desire to reduce inefficiencies and streamline process
  • Ability to project manage
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred
