Job Overview
ProCare Therapy is seeking an engaging and compassionate Behavior Technician for a school-based contract position in Caldwell, ID. In this role, you will work directly with students to provide 1-on-1 behavioral support, help implement intervention plans, and foster a positive learning environment.

No active RBT certification is required for this position—we welcome candidates with a passion for working with youth and a strong background in caregiving, youth mentorship, or educational support!

Key Responsibilities
Direct Student Engagement: Provide consistent 1:1 support to help students navigate daily routines, stay focused, and achieve academic and social goals.

Behavior Plan Implementation: Carry out structured behavior strategies and positive reinforcement under the direction of school specialists and BCBAs.

Daily Data Tracking: Maintain brief, consistent notes and track behavioral milestones to help the educational team evaluate student progress.

Classroom Integration: Assist students during classroom instruction, transitions, and unstructured times (lunch, recess) to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

Collaborative Care: Partner with teachers, special education staff, and school specialists to support a cohesive approach to student success.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Certification: No RBT required.

Experience: Previous experience working with children in camp, childcare, tutoring, residential, or classroom settings is highly valued.

Key Traits: Strong communication skills, patience, dependability, and a commitment to helping students thrive.

Clearances: Ability to complete standard Idaho school district background check requirements.
