Reports to:Director of the OC Learning Center
Starting salary of $25 per hour. The Learning Center offers a flexible schedule with both in person and remote hours available.
Classification: Academic school year, part-time
Qualifications/Requisites
Bachelor's Degree preferred.Looking for highly motivated individuals who have taken college level courses in multiple levels of math and/or science. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well in a group and independently. Flexibility and adaptability are a must.We are looking for outstanding Christian role models who want to help middle and high school students achieve their best.
General
Oaks Christian is seeking qualified individuals to assist in our various academic support programs, including small group and individual tutoring. These individuals will tutor students in various subjects during the school day, in the afternoons and/or in the evenings. Some weekends may be required prior to final exams. Individuals hired will be paid an hourly rate.
Primary Duties
โ€ข Offer tutoring in various levels of Math/Science
โ€ข One-on-one tutoring, small group tutoring, workshops, review sessions
โ€ข Communicate effectively with parents
โ€ข Maintain a professional learning environment
โ€ข Train students on Executive Function skills:
o organizational skills, planning and time management
o efficient study skills
o accountability to turning in assignments consistently and on time
    • Other duties as assigned
