Job description

We are StudyPoint, a national leader in one-on-one tutoring. We operate in 19 markets nationwide as well as online, and we have worked with more than 55,000 students since 1999! Currently, we’re seeking SAT and ACT tutors to work with students in their homes and online. There may also be opportunities to work with students on academic tutoring in math, science, study skills and executive function support, homework help, and other academic support.

StudyPoint's expert tutors have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Confidence tutoring ALL sections of the SAT/ACT including both verbal and math sections (Math sections include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and some Trigonometry)
  • Reliable car access to travel to students’ homes

Typical Hours:

Prime tutoring hours generally fall outside of school hours and on weekends. Your availability should include 6 or more hours per week and should be primarily be in the following time blocks:

Monday-Friday: 3pm-9pm

Saturday/Sunday: 9am-9pm

Where we Tutor:

We tutor in the following towns in your area: Philadelphia, Wayne, Berwyn, Media, Malvern, West Chester, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, Pottstown, Warminster, Doylestown, and areas in New Jersey such as Princeton, Cherry Hill, Voorhees Township. Being able to cover some of these towns will help ensure that we are able to pair you with in-home students!
