We're Hiring! Join Our Mission to Empower Families!
Location: Palm Springs, FL
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (M-Th: 8AM-5:30PM/Fri: 8AM-12PM)
Pay: up to $22.28 per hour commensurate with experience
The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Family Services Specialist to advocate for families and help them access essential early learning programs and services. If you're passionate about making a difference, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community.
What You'll Do
  • Provide Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services in person or by phone.
  • Screen applicants for financial assistance and determine eligibility for programs such as School Readiness, VPK, CSC Scholarship, Head Start and Early Head Start.
  • Advocate for families, assess needs, and assist with enrollment, transfers, and service terminations.
  • Maintain accurate family information in the Enhanced Field System (EFS) database.
  • Support families with child developmental screenings and provide timely notifications about childcare status.
  • Manage a caseload while accurately documenting case notes and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and reporting requirements.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in CCR&R, eligibility determination, or childcare enrollment processes.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRMs and cloud-based systems.
