What To Expect Do Day to Day

As a Material Handler , you will support varied areas of production, safely and efficiently pick, kit, receive, put away, and prepare material and machines. Accurately document material and movement for all materials. Order and safely deliver all material to the appropriate locations ensuring right part at the right place at the right time in the right quantity and quality using various material handling equipment. *See Essential

Pay Rate and Scheduled Compensation Extension:

2nd Shift includes a total compensation of $23.30/hour. Total compensation includes a base wage of $22.05/hr plus a shift differential of $1.25/hr). Additionally, all shifts are eligible for a comprehensive day-one benefit program, generous time off, and retirement benefits, as well as weekly pay.

Required Qualifications for Consideration (minimum):

  • Minimum of 6 month intermediate to advanced computer usage

  • 3 months minimum experience in logistics/warehousing

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Prior Caterpillar Paving experience

  • Have experience operating material handling equipment (i.e. counterbalance, turret, reach, picker)

  • Ability to read standard work and write continuous improvement cards

  • Ability to utilize computer/scanner for material movement transactions

  • Prior SAP Mach 1 experience

Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00p.m. - 10:00p.m.

Work Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Compensation: L02 $22.05/hour (2/3rd shifts)- PLUS the $1.25/hour shift differential

Day to Day Details:

Responsible for putting safety first with a goal to prevent all injuries, occupational illnesses and safety incidents. Order and safely deliver all material to the appropriate locations ensuring right part at the right place at the right time in the right quantity and quality using various material handling equipment including counterbalance, reach truck, picker, tug and turret machines. Use Caterpillar systems, tools and equipment to perform material movement tasks and transactions including, but not limited to, dock loading and unloading, stocking, picking parts, dunnage removal, receiving, shipping and material auditing. Provide support and perform activities related to inbound and outbound receiving and shipments. Take initiative to identify, document, communicate and correct problems related to material movement, report discrepancies, and recommend solutions. Support team People, Quality, Velocity and Cost (PQVC) initiatives?and daily activities.?

Summary Pay Range:

$22.05 - $28.35
