Job description

Herbal Products Production & Fulfillment Associate

The Turmeric Tart is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production and Fulfillment Associate to help prepare, package, organize, and ship our herbal products.

This is hands-on work that directly supports our customers and our mission. We produce herbal blends, tinctures, balms, salves, and other herbal products that people use as part of their everyday wellness routines. The work requires care, accuracy, cleanliness, and consistency because what we are making matters.

Responsibilities

  • Package herbal tea blends, bulk herbs, tinctures, balms, salves, and other herbal products
  • Fill, weigh, seal, label, and organize product bags and containers
  • Read order sheets, product labels, quantities, and packing instructions accurately
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders while carefully matching the correct products to each order
  • Inspect orders for accuracy and quality before shipment
  • Replenish packaging materials and product stock throughout the production and fulfillment center
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and product records
  • Complete production logs, inventory logs, and stock-tracking paperwork
  • Receive, organize, rotate, and store herbs, packaging materials, and finished products
  • Keep production, packaging, and fulfillment areas clean, sanitary, and organized
  • Follow food-safety, sanitation, and product-handling procedures
  • Assist with other production and fulfillment needs as the company grows

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and able to stay focused while completing repetitive, detail-oriented work. A large part of this position involves carefully matching products, labels, quantities, and customer orders, so strong reading skills and attention to detail are essential.

Applicants should be comfortable standing for extended periods, working with their hands, keeping accurate records, and maintaining an organized workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous food handling, food production, packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, or fulfillment experience
  • Familiarity with food-safety and sanitation practices
  • Experience with inventory tracking, stock replenishment, or production logs
  • Strong reading, counting, organization, and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Interest in herbs, tea, natural products, or wellness is helpful but not required

Opportunity for Growth

The Turmeric Tart is a growing herbal company, and this position offers the opportunity to grow with us. Dependable employees who demonstrate strong performance, leadership, accuracy, and initiative may have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and advance within the company.

We are looking for someone who understands that even the smallest details matter. Every bag sealed, label applied, inventory count recorded, and order shipped contributes to helping people receive products they trust.
