Job description

Summary

CTC Group is seeking Turkish Mandarin language analysts who have held roles such as Cryptologic Linguist, Multidiscipline Language Analyst (MDLA), Operational Language Analyst (OLA), or SIGINT Analyst. These candidates will translate, analyze, and interpret voice and/or graphic language materials, including communications and documents, in support of intelligence operations.
Locations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade
Responsibilities

  • Perform SIGINT language analysis on voice and graphic materials, exploiting foreign language communications to identify, extract, and report intelligence of operational value.
  • Translate, transcribe, and gist complex written and spoken materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to mission timelines.
  • Recover and document essential elements of information (EEIs) and other reportable intelligence in support of cryptologic and intelligence operations.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of translations and transcripts, validating linguistic accuracy, context, and intelligence relevance.
  • Provide cultural, regional, and contextual analysis to enhance analytic understanding and operational decision-making.
  • Produce clear intelligence reports, summaries, and briefings to support analysts, operators, and mission leadership.
  • Collaborate with SIGINT analysts, operators, and multi-disciplinary teams to support ongoing operations, assessments, and mission planning.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • One (1) year experience typing on an English keyboard.
Level 1 Qualifications
  • Two (2) years full-time experience performing cryptologic language processing in the required language.
    • One (1) of the two (2) years' experience, translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duties.
  • High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent from other countries.
  • Test scores of a minimum 2 skill level (2 Listening & 2 Reading) on a language proficiency exam, such as the DLPT.
Level 2 Qualifications
  • Four (4) years full-time experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing in the required language(s).
    • Two (2) of the four (4) years shall be within the past four (4) years.
  • Associates degree, or equivalent from other countries.
    • In lieu of an Associate's Degree, two (2) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted for a total of six (6) years of experience.
  • Test score of a minimum 3 skill level in at least one modality (2/3 or 3/2) on a language proficiency exam, such as the DLPT.
Level 3 Qualifications
  • Ten (10) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.
    • One (1) of the ten (10) years in the required language(s) shall be within the past six (6) years.
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or equivalent from other countries.
    • In lieu of the Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of directly related, applied, practical experience may be substituted for a total of fourteen (14) years.
  • Test score of a minimum 3 skill level in at least one modality (2/3 or 3/2) on a language proficiency exam, such as the DLPT.
Level 4 Qualifications
  • Fifteen (15) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.
    • One (1) of the fifteen (15) years in the required language(s) shall be within the past six (6) years.
  • Bachelor of Aris (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or equivalent from other countries.
    • In lieu of the Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of directly related, applied, practical experience may be substituted for a total of nineteen (19) years.
  • Test scores of a minimum 3 skill level (3 Listening & 3 Reading) on a language proficiency exam, such as the DLPT.

Pay Information
The final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications. CTC also provides a variety of benefits as well as opportunities for continuous education and development. 
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $220,000.
