JOB SUMMARY
The Environmental Services Lead Attendant is responsible for the successful operation of the EVS shift by working closely with the EVS Supervisor as needed. This role requires the Lead to work with and as an EVS attendant, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness of all gaming floor, administrative offices, and public areas are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
When assigned to be a Lead:
  • Assist the EVS Supervisors with maintaining standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members on that shift as needed.
  • Review feedback from daily inspections with EVS Leadership
  • Managing supplies and cleanliness of Storage locations, including inventory
  • Getting supplies ready for the upcoming shift.
  • Maintaining inspecting equipment
  • Ensure all Team Members are properly trained to their assigned task.
  • Conduct inspections on all gaming and non-gaming EVS areas daily.
  • Fill all reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance.
  • Must maintain the strictest confidence of all confidential and proprietary information.
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self and subordinates.
  • Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings.
  • Completes necessary reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
  • Performs EVS Attendant duties and other duties assisgned my management.

When assigned to be an Attendant:
  • Sweeps, scrubs, vacuums, sanitizes and mops surfaces including floors throughout the facility (including hallways). Sanitizes restrooms, public and non-public areas multiple times during shift.
  • Cleans carpets, air vents, windows, glass surfaces, trash cans, ash trays, and interior walls.
  • Sweeps around chairs, tables and games. Sanitizes all touch points throughout facility.
  • Cleans and sanitizes chairs, hand rails, doors, tables and games throughout the facility.
  • Collects and removes trash throughout interior and exterior public and non-public areas.
  • Operates electric-powered equipment designed to perform certain duties.
  • Notifies management concerning need for repairs or deep cleaning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Able to obtain KY Gaming License
  • Must be at least 21 years old
