Job description


What to Expect in the Role:
  • Open and close the store as necessary.
  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer-friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of customer service.
  • Ensure that each customer receives professional service in person and on the telephone.
  • Answer customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
  • Communicate customer requests to management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers.
  • Keep a record of sales, prepare daily counts, and inventory grass.
  • Remove and record the amount of cash in the register at the end of the shift. i.e. Close out the cash register, count money, complete cash sheets, deposit money collected, and post daily transactions to the General Ledger.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.

What We Will Be Needing From You:
  • Ability to process information/sod sales through computer system and POS register system.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written communications and communicate effectively with associates and customers professionally and courteously.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
  • Ability to make mathematical computations with accuracy.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
