Requirements
What You'll Do
As a Commercial Spray Technician, you'll handle a variety of large-scale turf management tasks with accuracy and professionalism. Your role includes:
  • Applying fertilizer, weed control, fungicides, and pest treatments using commercial spray rigs and equipment
  • Managing large commercial properties
  • Diagnosing and treating turf issues such as weeds, pests, diseases, soil problems, and more
  • Maintaining detailed service records for commercial clients
  • Ensuring safe and proper operation of spray trucks, ride-on units, and application tools
  • Providing clear, professional communication with clients, managers, and teammates
  • Representing FineTurf with professionalism, quality, and ownership on every site

What We're Looking For
You'll stand out if you bring:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of lawn care, agriculture, turf, or outdoor labor experience
  • Experience with commercial spraying or willingness to be trained
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
  • Ability to work independently on large properties
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach - you see what needs to be done and do it
  • Ability to obtain NC Pesticide Applicator License (we can help you get it)
