Job description

Insight FS is headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin with 23 branches across the state and upper peninsula of Michigan. Insight FS has 430+ employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 50,000 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy, agri-finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and turf. Insight FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Accomplishes safe delivery of energy products while meeting or exceeding the customer's expectations. Achieves customer retention through effective communication and account management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Works with other company salesmen to increase sales of energy products.
Responds to all complaints and follows through to ensure satisfactory settlement.
Efficiently delivers energy products to exceed customer/company expectations.
Updates and apprises management of all business-related customer communications.
Monitors and controls product shrink to acceptable levels as outlined in company policy.
Ensures all delivery equipment is in safe working condition; Keeps daily truck inspection records and HOS records.
Adheres to and supports the company credit policy, checking credit history of patron before making a delivery, and explaining policy to new customers.
Conduct routine service on customer tank systems as needed and in accordance with company guidelines.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Keeps rolling stock equipment, bulk plant area, and office clean and properly maintained to promote a positive company image.
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 1 - 3 years or more of truck driving and/or bulk transport delivery related work experience to demonstrate knowledge to successfully deliver products to customers.
Must possess and maintain a Class A or B CDL driver's license with air brakes, hazmat, and tanker endorsements and satisfactory driving record. Valid medical card is an additional requirement.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Available to work scheduled deliveries during the work week and scheduled nights/weekends as business conditions warrant.
Frequently exposed and required to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wet, etc.), as well as working at various heights or elevated platforms
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
