Lawn Care Technician (CO3 certified)
Location: LaVergne, TN
This position requires experience as a Pesticide Applicator in commercial properties and/or a CO3 certification in Lawn and Ornamental. Relevant, proven experience may be considered in lieu of the certification requirement.
Landscapes USA is seeking an experienced Certified Spray Technician / Chemical Applicator to join our team in LaVergne, TN. This position focuses on the application of herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers on commercial and residential landscape properties. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of turf and ornamental care, chemical applications, and safety compliance.
The Spray Technician is responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of lawns, trees, shrubs, and plant beds by controlling insects, weeds, and diseases. This role may also include supervising or assisting other spray technicians on assigned commercial maintenance accounts. Technicians are dispatched by an Account Manager and use a company vehicle to travel between job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers to turf and ornamental landscapes
  • Diagnose turf, plant, insect, and disease issues
  • Identify plants, weeds, and turf varieties
  • Prepare, mix, and apply chemicals safely and accurately
  • Treat lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds according to job specifications
  • Operate spray equipment, tools, and light to heavy vehicles

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (minimum 3 years driving history required
  • Strong knowledge of turf and plant health
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50-80 lbs and perform physical labor
