SEEKING TURF CARE SPECIALIST

Thomas Lawn & Landscape is an established, full service commercial and residential landscape company located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. We are committed to providing exceptional service and creating healthy, lush turf for our clients.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Turf Care Specialist to join our growing team. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for landscaping and turf management. As a Turf Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of turf areas on both residential and commercial properties.

Job responsibilities will include:

- Perform routine turf maintenance tasks, including timely fertilizing, weed control, aerating and seeding.
- Identify and address turf health issues, such as pest infestations, diseases, and erosion.
- Apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition and report any issues.
- Stay updated on the latest turf care techniques and industry best practices.

Job requirements include:

- High school diploma or equivalent; current Core RT license or 3B license, or ability to pass licensing exam.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record a must.

- Verifiable previous experience in landscaping, turf care, or related field is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of turf grass species, pest management, and soil health.

- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
