JOB SHADOWING -HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS & SENIORS (UNPAID)

Spend time shadowing our highly trained professionals within our shops/stores to gain an understanding of what it means to be a top Ag or Turf Service Technician in the industry. (Must be over 16 years of age).


INTERN PROGRAM / WORK STUDY - HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS (PAID)

The work-study internship is for high school students to get a hands-on exposure to the Agricultural Equipment Maintenance and/or Diesel Technology fields. (Must be over 16 years of age, be a High School Senior or equivalent, must be enrolled in a Diesel Technology/Heavy Equipment curriculum)


TECHNICIAN INTERN PROGRAM (NON-DEERE PROGRAM)

Designed for high school seniors committed to continuing their formal education in a diesel technology program at an accredited post-secondary institution. Students can secure employment their senior year of high school with LandPro, enter the accredited college of their choice and can work and learn with our experienced service technicians during planned breaks and weekends (if applicable). Students will be required to work during summer breaks. Must be over 16 years of age.


TECHNICIAN INTERN PROGRAM (JOHN DEERE PROGRAM)

The technician internship is designed for high school seniors committed to continuing their formal education in an Ag. & Turf John Deere TECH program through an accredited post-secondary institution. Obtaining sponsorship from a LandPro dealership is required. Upon completing the 2-year John Deere TECH program, the student will be committed to working with the sponsoring dealership for a minimum of 2 years. Students can secure employment their senior year of high school with LandPro, begin their 2-year John Deere TECH education, and can work and learn with our experienced service technicians during planned breaks and weekends (if applicable). Must be over 16 years of age.


APPRENTICE PROGRAM (TECHNICIANS)

The Apprentice Program is designed for non-college students that are looking for an alternative route in their pursuit of becoming a professional technician. The program is overseen by the Service Manager (onsite) as well as highly qualified technicians that act as a mentor to the apprentice. Apprentices will earn competitive wages throughout the apprenticeship with a guaranteed increase after the first year of the program and another increase at program completion. In Addition, apprentices will be provided with a set of tools worth approximately $2500 to use during the duration of the apprenticeship. Must be over 16 years of age.
